I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve as a practitioner lecturer at the State University of Jakarta (Universitas Negeri Jakarta) on May 28th & 31st 2024. It was an incredible and unforgettable experience!

During this session, I had the privilege of sharing insights and knowledge about the “Development of Digital Products and Services” with an enthusiastic group of students. As a practitioner lecturer, my aim was to bridge the gap between academic theories and real-world practices by providing a practical perspective on the dynamic world of digital product development.

In my lecture, I delved into various critical aspects of creating digital products and services, starting from conceptualization and ideation to the actual process of design, development, and implementation. I highlighted:

  1. Innovative Strategies: Approaches to identify and capitalize on opportunities in the digital landscape, focusing on user-centric solutions.
  2. Development Methodologies: An overview of Agile, Lean, and Design Thinking methodologies to streamline processes and deliver value efficiently.
  3. Best Practices: Practical tips for ensuring the success of digital products in an increasingly competitive market, emphasizing user experience, scalability, and sustainability.

The session was designed to give participants a comprehensive and actionable understanding of what it takes to develop effective and sustainable digital products and services.

My goal was not just to educate but to inspire and empower them to think creatively and critically about the challenges and opportunities in this field.

What made the experience even more rewarding was seeing the enthusiasm and creativity of the students. Despite not coming from computer science or technical backgrounds, they impressed me with their ability to grasp the concepts and apply them effectively. By the end of the session, the students were remarkably well-equipped to create prototypes of educational-themed applications. Their determination, teamwork, and fresh perspectives were genuinely inspiring.

This experience reinforced my belief in the importance of interdisciplinary learning and how exposure to practical knowledge can unlock potential in unexpected ways. It’s a reminder that innovation is not limited by one’s academic major or background—it’s fueled by curiosity, dedication, and the willingness to learn.

I look forward to more opportunities like this to contribute to the growth of future innovators and to continue sharing insights on digital product development. Here’s to fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and learning!
