Hi, My name is Alda Mustafri
My professional journey has been a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and a passion for creating impactful solutions. With over eight years of experience in the industrial technology sector, I have contributed significantly to financial technology (Payment Gateway) and educational technology (EdTech).
I graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors in Computer Science, specializing in Distributed e-Business Applications. My thesis showcased my ability to transform traditional business processes into efficient e-business systems, as I developed a content management system for e-commerce that integrated marketing through social media APIs such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Tumblr.
Over the years, my career has evolved from programming and product management to my current role as Head of Product Design. In this role, I lead the Product Design sub-division and play a key part in fostering collaboration between Product Design, Product Management, and Product Analytics, ensuring alignment with technical teams in a squad structure.
While serving as Head of Product Design, I pursued a Master’s degree in Management at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia, graduating with Cum Laude honors. This academic journey was not just an achievement but a strategic step to deepen my understanding of management and business principles.
I realized that creating exceptional product designs requires more than technical or aesthetic expertise—it demands a strong foundation in business strategy, market dynamics, and organizational leadership.
My studies enabled me to enhance my approach to design, ensuring that the products I lead are not only user-centric but also aligned with broader business goals, sustainable growth, and measurable impact.
I am also passionate about exploring scientific research in the e-wallet domain, a field that is deeply connected to my expertise in financial technology and my interest in user behavior. As part of this passion, I authored a journal that examined key aspects of e-wallet adoption, user preferences, and technological trends. The process of writing this journal provided me with a new perspective on analyzing and structuring problems, refining my critical thinking, and bridging the gap between academic insights and real-world applications. I gained a deeper appreciation for how nuanced factors—such as trust, ease of use, and cultural dynamics—can significantly influence the success of digital payment platforms. This knowledge has been instrumental in shaping my approach to designing innovative, user-centered solutions that address both functional and emotional user needs.
I remain committed to leveraging my technical expertise, leadership skills, and academic insights to create meaningful and sustainable solutions in the digital product space.
